College & Career Planning

New Academy Charter School prepares students to look beyond high school and imagine the best possible future for themselves. Our goal is to remove every impediment to success and strengthen their desire to become productive members of society.

In addition to teaching employability and life skills, our Career Development team offers the following services to our students:

• Transportation to college and career fairs
• Assisting students with employment and college applications
• Assisting with the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• A high school diploma from New Academy Charter School for every graduating senior and a $2,000 scholarship applied to tuition at a post-secondary or trade school of their choice
• Juniors and seniors may register for the SAT exam free of charge.  If necessary, transportation to the exam is also provided.

Every New Academy Charter School graduate is awarded the Samuel A. Costanzo Scholarship worth $2000.00 toward the college or trade school of their choice.
